Regional Property Manager, Westgate Management Company

Michelle Peterson, Regional Property Manager, brings 20 years of experience in the multifamily industry, with extensive experience in managing affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, Section 8, HOME, ACC/PIH and Conventional.  Michelle currently oversees management operations of over 980 units consisting of Conventional and Projected Based Section 8, located in Pennsylvania.  She plays a key role in oversight of site HUD compliance and employee training, as well as maintaining relationships with vendors, HUD and PHFA.

Prior to joining Westgate Management Company in 2016, Michelle served as Regional Property Manager for Pennrose Management Company with oversight of 5 communities consisting of 512 units.  Michelle also held the position of Operations Director for Clark Realty Management located in Arlington, Virginia, with oversight of 1241 units located in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC., with experience in Tax Credit new development lease-ups and military housing. Michelle has held other positions in multifamily management, including Property Manager of several Tax Credit, ACC/PIH and Class A Conventional properties.

Michelle is a Blended Occupancy Specialist (BOS), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP), and is a licensed Real Estate sales agent in Pennsylvania.
